Ice Age fossils occur at many
localities in the Phoenix area. The museum excavations have included
the well known Gilbert Mammoth and many firsts for Maricopa County.
Firsts include: camels, the camel Camelops, the llama
Hemiauchenia, and the pronghorn Stockoceros. |
